Brick provides information related to New York City building compliance requirements based on publicly available records, third-party data sources, and user-provided information.
New York City building, housing, fire, environmental, and energy regulations are complex, frequently updated, inconsistently enforced, and may apply differently based on building attributes, occupancy, usage, exemptions, agency interpretations, or factual circumstances not captured in available data.
Brick may reference or surface requirements associated with, including but not limited to, agencies such as the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB), Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY), Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and other municipal, state, or federal authorities.
Brick does not guarantee that:

By using the Service, you expressly assume all risks associated with compliance decisions, filings, and enforcement outcomes related to your properties.
If Brick offers paid plans:

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service.
Ownership does not transfer. Full stop.
